WHAT IS THE MEANING OF "REFURBISH"?

REFURBISH = WHEN A PRODUCT IS RESTORED TO "LIKE-NEW" CONDITION!

WE OFFER 2 LEVELS OF REFURBS AND  BOX FRAME REPLACEMENT

 

That’s what we do here at New Image Mixers.  We take your older, used Front Discharge Mixer and make it “LIKE-NEW” condition again.  It looks and operates like new!

LEVEL 1 TRUCK REFURB

​

HERE’S THE SCOPE OF WORK NEW IMAGE MIXERS DOES TO YOUR TRUCK:

 

NOTE:  PRIOR TO ANY WORK BEING PERFORMED BY “NEW IMAGE MIXERS” AN INSPECTION WILL BE CONDUCTED ON ALL TRUCKS.  BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN.  ALL DENTS, DINGS, NON-OPERATIONAL/BROKEN PARTS WILL BE NOTED.  OWNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF ANY ISSUE’S PRIOR TO ANY REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT WORK IS PERFORMED THAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN OUR OPTIONS 1 & 2. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ORDERING ALL ADDITIONAL REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PARTS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS REFURB PACKAGE.  OUR SHOP RATE IS $119.00 HOUR PLUS MATERIALS.    A DOT INSPECTION WILL BE PERFORMED BY A CERTIFIED INSPECTOR.  ALL VIOLATIONS WILL BE FIXED ON A TIME & MATERIAL RATE.  IF DURING THE ASSEMBLY PROCESS ANY ENGINEERING/MODIFICATIONS/TROUBLE SHOOTING ARE NECESSARY TO MAKE AN ASSEMBLY, COMPONENT/PART FIT OR FUNCTION ADDITIONAL LABOR CHARGE WILL APPLY. THE ADDITIONAL LABOR WILL BE CHARGED AT OUR SHOP RATE OF $119.00 PER HOUR PLUS MATERIALS.

 

Hood – 1 color standard – stripping and designs available for additional cost

  • Take the hood off the truck. Remove the grill, lights, wiring harness, hood shocks, and safety straps

  • Degrease and clean, the D/A sand and prep for painting

  • Paint or polish stainless steel grill – your choice

  • Paint hood with 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint – 1 color standard

  • Install new LED light package, including new wiring harness

  • Install new rubber safety straps and cables

  • Install new license plate holder

  • Install new hood hinge hardware

  • Install the hood back on truck – make necessary adjustments

Front and Rear Fenders

  • Remove the old front and rear fenders

  • Fenders will be replaced with new aluminum

  • Fenders will be prepped and painted with 2 coats and 2 coats of paint – 1 color standard

  • All lighting will be replaced with new LED marker lights, LED turn signal lights, LED tail lights, and head lights

  • Install new mud flaps – front and rear

Upright Assembly

  • Remove the complete upright assembly off the truck

  • Remove the charge hopper, main chute and flip, and all other components attached to the upright

  • Excessive concrete will be removed at a rate of $119 per hour before sandblasting

  • Sandblast all the parts that are to be painted

  • Prep and paint all components with 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint

  • Rebuild chute race with new bearings

  • Install new chute chain

  • Install chute boot and clamp

  • Install new barrel wipe

  • Install new LED marker lighting

  • Install new west coast and spot mirrors

  • Install new hydraulic hoses to chute motor

  • Install new hydraulic hoses to the main chute lift cylinder

  • Install new upper and lower washout hose with nozzles

Barrel – 1 color standard

  • Remove barrel – have the barrel cleaned when you deliver sandblast barrel

  • Sandblast barrel

  • Prep and paint with 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint – 1 color standard – designs optional at additional charge

  • Install back on the truck

Chassis

  • Remove the barrel, upright assembly, front and rear pedestals, front and rear fenders, water tank, chute pan, fuel tank, cab, and power pack skid with hood

  • Excessive concrete will be removed at a shop rate of $119 per hour

  • Sandblast air tanks and prep and paint

  • Sandblast chassis and prep and paint

  • Caulk around any bracket not taken off the chassis

  • Remove tires and rims so hubs can be painted

  • Steel rims will be sandblasted and painted – up to 10 rims

  • Aluminum rims will be cleaned - polished @ $159 each includes plastic chrome lug nut covers

  • Install 2 new trunnion rollers

  • Install 2 new trunnion roller shields

  • Install 6 new springs on the front pedestal

  • install 6 new springs on the rear pedestal

  • Install new springs, rubber bushings, sight glass, 2 water valves, water tank muffler assembly  and flapper for the water tank

  • Install new water plumbing from the water tank to overhead, including new frame & pedestal mounting bracket

  • Install new OEM frame wiring harnesses for the engine, transmission, electrical, and hood from the back of the cab to the hood – cab harness replacement is available for an additional charge

  • Install new heat hose

  • Install new fuel line

  • Install new high-pressure hydraulic hoses with crimp on fitting

  • Install new D.O.T. airlines with new brass ends

  • Paint the muffler shield

  • Paint the air breather cap

  • Paint the power pack skid and muffler rack assembly

  • Install 2 new muffler rack bushings

  • Install new battery box

  • Install new Turbo 2000 air dryer filter

  • Install new rubber chute tie down strap

Cab – 1 color standard – strips and designs optional

  • Deep clean the inside of the cab and remove everything that will be installed new

  • Sandblast, prep, and paint outside of cab using 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint

  • Remove inside door panel – clean and paint

  • Paint the inside of the cab

  • Install new headliner

  • Install new floor liner

  • Install new back of cab liner

  • Install new air-ride seat

  • Install new seat belts

  • Install all new glass – windshield. side and back of cab glass. window glass

  • Install new window seals

  • Install new door rubber

  • Install new window crank handles

  • Install new cab fan

  • Install new steering arm boot

  • Install new electric city horn

  • Install new air horn & valve

  • Install new fire extinguisher and safety triangles

  • Install new stereo and speakers

  • Install new safety decals

  • Install 4 new rubber cab mount bushings

  • Install new wiper arm and blade

  • Install new windshield washer tank with pump

  • Install new cab grounding strap

  • Install new windshield washer nozzle

Miscellaneous

  • Complete truck inspection prior to pick-up by the customer

  • Change hydraulic fluid and filter

  • Service engine – new oil and filter, water filter, and air filter

  • Service transmission – change fluid and filter

  • Fill washer fluid tank

  • Load truck with gravel and water for testing

  • Wash and detail truck prior to customer pick-up

  • Fill fuel tank with diesel fuel

 FRAME REPLACEMENT

TEREX/PHOENIX  BOX FRAME PLUS & CONVERSION

 

YOU PURCHASE A NEW  BOX FRAME PLUS AND HAVE IT DROP SHIPPED TO NEW IMAGE MIXERS.

 

NEW IMAGE MIXERS WILL COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING WORK:

 

  • REMOVE ALL DONOR TRUCK COMPONENTS AND PARTS – AXLES, T-CASE, DRIVELINES, BRACKETS

  • CAULK AROUND ALL BRACKETS ON THE NEW BOX FRAME.

  • PREP AND PAINT THE NEW BOX FRAME.

  • ALL DONOR PARTS THAT WILL BE USED WILL BE SANDBLASTED AND PAINTED PRIOR TO ASSEMBLY ONTO THE NEW BOX FRAME

  • INSTALL ALL DONOR PARTS ON THE NEW  FRAME ASSEMBLY

  • SET THE CHASSIS TO RIDE-HEIGHT, SET THE POWER PACK SKID, UPRIGHT, AND CAB SO THE PEDESTALS AND BARREL LOCATION CAN BE SET.

  • COMPLETE THE AIR, HYDRAULIC, AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM HOOK-UP

  • YOU WILL RECEIVE A $6,200 CREDIT WHICH WILL BE REFLECTED IN THE PRICING FOR THE FRAME INSTALLED ELECTRICAL, ENGINE, TRANSMISSION FRAME HARNESSES, HEATER HOSE, FUEL HOSE, DOT AIRLINES WITH BRASS ENDS.

                                                            OSHKOSH  BOX FRAME & CONVERSION

 

NEW IMAGE MIXERS WILL PURCHASE AN OSHKOSH  BOX FRAME ACCORDING TO YOUR DONOR TRUCK VIN.  THE COST OF THE NEW BOX FRAME WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE DEPOSIT AMOUNT DUE.

 

THE BOX FRAME INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING - HEAT TREATED RAILS WITH LINER, CROSS MEMBERS, FISH PLATES, FRONT SUSPENSION, SHEPARD STEERING GEAR BOX, 2 FRAME MOUNTED AIR TANKS, DRAG LINK, BATTERY BOX,  FRONT & REAR BUMPERS, HUCK BOLTED TOGETHER,  PRIMERED AND PAINTED.

 

NEW IMAGE MIXERS WILL TEAR THE DONOR TRUCK DOWN AND DO ALL THE CONVERSION, HOOK-UPS AND TESTING.

 

  • REMOVE ALL DONOR TRUCK COMPONENTS AND PARTS THAT WILL BE USED.

  • ALL DONOR PARTS WILL BE SANDBLASTED AND PAINTED PRIOR TO ASSEMBLY ON THE NEW BOX FRAME

  • PLUMB THE CHASSIS WITH NEW AIRLINES WITH ENDS, NEW HYDRAULIC HOSE WITH ENDS, OEM FRAME HARNESSES, HEATER HOSE, FUEL LINE (ALL LISTED IN OPTION 1).

  • INSTALL ALL DONOR PARTS ON THE NEW OSHKOSH STYLE FRAME ASSEMBLY

  • SET THE CHASSIS TO RIDE-HEIGHT, SET THE POWER PACK SKID, UPRIGHT, AND CAB SO THE PEDESTALS AND BARREL LOCATION CAN BE SET.

  • HOOK UP THE AIR, HYDRAULIC, AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
